maybe next year...

I don't understand why people buy DDR games on a console when their is stepmania a DDR game on the pc who is free and where you can download 1000 free songs for it.

We will probably see a new one for the Wii ... later on for the PS3/360 , maybe even for the PS2 ...

So far, don't know anything yet of a new DDR, maybe they'll release a new one late this year or Next year

In Hottest Party, once you are at the song list, go up to options and you can disable not only the hand markers, but also any of the gimmick items. Each player can choose their own options. This is nice because I don't care for the hand markers, and my wife doesn't care to play without them. I don't mind the gimmicks like the confusion blocks, my wife hate's em. So the customization works well.

You won't see a new DDR on the Wii anytime soon... Because the other one is still having decent legs week-over-week, thus making it a possible million-seller... Maybe an announcement soon and then a spring 09 or a Christmas 08 release or something?!... Possibly a PS2 version on the horizon, although i believe they just released a compilation of old DDR's on it... PS3 is the only one who hasn't gotten a DDR yet... Maybe that'll come in August/September, just speculation though! Could also be that the dev is waiting for the userbase of the PS3 to grow a little more in Japan, thus creating a bigger market for the game! Just saying...
