I wasn't paying attention to gaming news for a few months, so I'm really happy to see how well this game has done.
Great that Monolith Soft are getting the sales they deserve for once, and they should be looking at remasters for Xenoblade and Xenoblade X, hopefully.

The work they have done on the story DLC makes me think of we ever get a remaster of the previous games it will be done by a different development team. These guys at Monolith Soft are more likely to do a remake then just make the game prettier.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have announced the next Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update. Version 1.5.1 is dropping this week, along with new DLC. Expansion Pass quests and the new Rare Blade Hibana will be featured as part of this.

Here’s a further breakdown of what’s on the way:

– Final quest pack includes 5 new quests, 3 of them involve a number of Rare Blades, the last one involves KOS-MOS and Shiki (Adenine)

– New Rare Blade quest for Hibana, designed by Atto

– New items to exchange for in the Challenge Arena, costumes as well as items to increase Tora’s Idea

– Extreme and Custom difficulties added

– New Setting option will change the Unique Monster BGM to “You Will Know Our Names” (from Xenoblade Chronicles 1) when Shulk and Fiora are in your party

The update goes live on July 27.

Hmmm, a simple copy and paste of the tweet link doesn't work any more? Anyways, really want to play this game again but my mood swings for gaming is really different now compared to when I was still dating, hope to find a time for the games I've left on hold.

According to what people have data mined Elma maybe joining the fray in the next blade updates.

I wonder if this is any indication of a potential announcement of the rumoured Xenoblade Chronicles X port? It would be a good opportunity to hit two birds with one stone by plugging XCX while drumming up more interest in XC2.

Its most likely comming, but I really doubt they would announced it before the expansion of XC 2 is released, so that the announcements and releases dont cannabilize each other.

Shulk shows up in this too? Too many good games coming out in September already. 

Shulk and Fiora are part of the battle challenge mode.  Torna the Golden Country is like a standalone prequel game, so he won't show up there.
