Yeah, never complained about the first look either, I just thought it suits him, anyways, having the new power it felt like I can take on mobs now compared before where I only lure 2-3 at a time, or maybe it's just because the power is new that's why the enemies are a little easier, who knows, anyway, I can't comment much on the Monado as well as I've only ever heard it on Smash Wii U and never played XC1, I just thought you may have any info as how he has the same weapon(or name at least) as that guy on Smash Wii U(sorry can't remember the name XD).

Shulk and it's not the same weapon in 2. They are similar.

I see.

This game makes me so excited for the eventual Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

just finished chapter 5 last night. i cant believe i already did 65 hrs and have 5 more chapters to go. I can definitely see this will be the first xenoblade game I beat despite owning all three

50 hours in at this point still exploring in C4, tbh I'd like it if Monolith's next game was another instalment as this feels like one of those classic SNES/PS1 era JRPGs only in full modern open world 3D, most JRPGS now days don't give off that feeling they feel wildly different. I'm guessing X will be ported anyway to give it a second wind and in future the next game is quite likely X2, even though XBC isn't as critically rated as the original I feel its better overall the original has the distinction of launching open world JRPGs and setting a bar so its always going to be hard matching its reception.

Hey guys ! Guess who lost 5 hours of progression because of a stupid crash ?!!!!@!#$%!

... I really need to save more often ...

Weird, never encountered any crash whatsoever after 55hrs of playing(maybe I jinxed it now XD), but you should really save more often, good thing I retained my habit from the PS1 era where I save every time I see a new save point, best of all, here you can save anywhere you want and still reload at the same place.

That's the problem. Since I have the freedom of doing it, I usually tell myself that I can save once I'm over with my session.

First time it happenned, it was totally my fault. But now, the game simply crashed (error) on me when I was in Mor Ardain's capital.

At least, i've done most of the backtracking during the last 3 hours ...

The game crahed only once for me in 70 hours. But I only lost 20 minutes. Still sucks to redo them. Can't imagine what would happen if I would lost 5 hours. I guess I would switch to another game for a week until I redo the stuff. So far, I save very often and open every core crystal as soon as I get one.

Did anyone think that this game should have been much more bloody than it was? I'm no gore fetishist - blood makes me queezy, but there were a lot of extremely violent moments in this game that were explicitly shown but with no blood. Maybe it wouldn't bother me if there wasn't semi-regular swearing, so it's not like the game is trying to be for kids.

I'm not looking for Bloodborne bloody so much as like My Hero Academia. It's just weird. A guy stabs himself with two scythes at one point and doesn't bleed.

Agreed, I think that in the most violent scenes it'd have more impact to have more blood on it. And it wouldn't feel out of tone, some scenes are pretty disturbing.

Guys, don't read this uless you've 100% completed the game, found every blade, and gotten the ultra secret ending, but...

I replayed the original twice. I find it is very difficult to keep playing once you hit Eryth Sea, the game really slows down until the Fallen Hand. So I find I almost want to take a break here. Then the last thrust to the end is really trying.

XCX is kind of like Breath of the Wild in that I found I could lose myself for dozens of hours - although, in that time, build up my knowledge about what's going on, the people, and background (more so than Breath of the Wild even). Like Breath of the Wild, it can take a very long time to get around to finishing.

XC2's worst paced part is definitely the slow tutorial portion at the beginning; at least until a point in chapter 3. It's, unfortunately, far along in chapter 3 that you realize just how awesome it all comes together.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
