Wii U Games That We Want Ported To Switch

Bayonetta 1-2 88 30.34%

Dk Tropical Freeze 51 17.59%

TW 101 12 4.14%

Pikmin 3 19 6.55%

Captain Toad 11 3.79%

Super Mario Maker 52 17.93%

Other 57 19.66%

Total:290

This pole is hard to answear because I feel like alot of the choices here are really good.

Dk Tropical Freeze (best platformer the Wii U had)
Bayonetta 1-2 (Switch doesnt have anything like Bayonetta on it atm)
Captain Toad (its just fun, good looking, puzzles with toad :)

would be my pick of those listed.

Also : Xenoblade X  & Tokyo Mirage sessions.

And while we re at it, lets port the Wii Xenoblade & Galaxy I, Galaxy II as well.

^ if that happends, Switch will be the best Nintendo System since the Snes.

Smash Bros. with all the content from 3Ds and Wiiu versions combined, modes and all

Bayonetta would be nice. I also wouldn't mind Mario Party 10, but moreso that new Mario Party Top 100 should definitely be ported from the 3DS.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is my pick. Very underrated game that deserves a second chance; I know I would double dip for sure.

I’d like Smash Wii U port as well...but only provided it doesn’t take resources away from Smash 5.

-Super Mario Maker: Considering some of the amazing clips we're seeing of BOTW via the share button, I think that would be an amazing combination with SMM, which would be a great way to spread awareness of a great game you can get on Switch. That, and the portable nature of the Switch would make it an efficient tool for making custom levels wherever you want.

Switch doesn't have touch screen functionality though, right? That would be a big step down from the WiiU version then if that's true.

It does in portable mode, which is why I specifically mention how it would be efficient when on the go, or maybe when you're in bed in something, cause let's face it, creativity doesn't just spawn when we want it to.

It would only be problematic when playing in TV mode.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Nintendo Switch ports that should happen:

Bayonetta 1 & 2. The second Bayonetta needs to be played by more people. Bayonetta 2 also suffered from framerate dips when things got a bit crazy, something that can easily be fixed on the Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD also need a port. Both titles suffered framerate dips on the Wii U - in places that had no frame issues on the original versions at that. The Wind Waker HD was the most noticeable in my opinion. When you were on the boat taking out other boats and cannons in the reefs, things would stutter a bit.
Hopefully they can be released in a collection together, with the possibility of Skyward Sword HD too (I know that this currently does not exist, however, Skyward Sword HD needs to happen).

Xenoblade Chronicles X would make for a good port too. They can improve/remove the pop in that happens in the city. Increase the resolution, and perhaps create hit detection with the vehicles in the city too. I also think that a HD port of Xenoblade Chronicles would be excellent.

Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze need to appear is some capacity. Donkey Kong Country Returns still looks excellent (especially for a Wii title). Include the 3DS content and make the game 1080p. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze would also benefit from being rendered in 1080p. These two games should be bundled together.

Pikmin 3 would look amazing with updated textures and being rendered in 1080p.

I considered listing Super Mario Maker, however, I think a pseudo sequel would be better. Include all the tools that were in the original, plus more. Incorporate slopes, water for non-water levels, more enemies etc.

I feel like if they were to release a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS port, they should have done so by now. This is the type of port that would benefit from an early release rather than later. At this point a new title is far more necessary.

A definitive edition of Captain Toad would be cool. Have the game rendered at 1080p with extra stages and perhaps some sort of online ranking mode with multiplayer perhaps? I think that a multiplayer mode for Captain Toad could potentially be a lot of fun. Have a co-op mode where you have to navigate the area together and find treasure and/or a mode in which you hurl turnips at each other. Something that sounds so ridiculous would be a lot of fun if done correctly.

i agree

Xenoblade Chronicles X - a great game with an amazing world, and the extra power of the Switch could make it look even better

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE - it was one of the last Wii U games, and an amazing game. sadly, i dont have the energy to set up my Wii U every time I want to play it.

All the main Mario (Bros., Galaxy, Land, Maker) games from Wii and Wii U would be welcome to have on the go.

I'd happily take all of the poll, thank you very much.
But I'd like them to come bundled with their respective sequels, though.
