It's an extremely linear platformer, I don't see anything on that game that couldn't be done on the Switch, besides the resolution perhaps.

Have you ever even touched a Switch game? Take a look at the Lost Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey, it has some impressive lighting, texture work and water shaders.

The image you posted doesn't match the commentary of your post.

Play the game and see for yourself. posting screenshots from my Switch doesn't show it off well as the image quality is reduced to a mere 480p.

I'm supposed to be impressed by those screenshots? Like I said, Odyssey looks better than Crash. It's only 5 GB. Not to mention the fact that those two games you mentioned only have 30 fps.

If you're impressed by SMO's "lighting, texture work and water shaders.", then yes, that would be a reasonable response to those screenshots.

And here we go again with "Nintendo artstyle is better and cover any technical difference"

Yes, ufortunetly there are those who's metric for how good a game looks is "how much does it look like a Nintendo game?" and it makes having any sort of technical discussion quite difficult.

It isn't just Nintendo fans though, some people just can't contribute to this type of discussion. I once had a conversation with someone on here who was arguing that Halo 2 Anniversary was better looking than Killzone: Shadow Fall.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I thought the screenshot was quite ugly and simple/bland... but who knows.

That's a 1080p screenshot and I have no idea what you're talking about. It just doesn't look that good.

We already know you don't like anything related to Nintendo.

But hey, if you want to argue that Crash Bandicoot is the zenith of the PS4's capabilities then go ahead.

I have little issue with anyone saying they think Mario is prettier than Ratchet or uncharted. That is prefference. But wen we discuss it on this way and someone go "lalalala Nintendo game look better and is more advanced" I just think what is this person saying?

One funny thing I noticed... Uncharted 4 have really gone mid way, realistic scenario and clothes, but cell shadding or something like that for the face animation. But for TLOU2 they are going full realism.

I do love the aesthetic of Sony games and think they are prettier than what people post from PC around here, but the numbers alone would show Star Citizen is more advanced than they...

And the things CGI-Quality have posted blowed my mind.

The point flought way over your head.

I like the looks of Mario, and was quite happy with their trailer. But even several of your Nintendo colleagues agreed that considering the difference in power between the systems and the Mario being 60fps vs R&C being 30fps was pretty clear that their graphical budget was higher. It isn't rocket science.

The funny thing is that it's not, and that sort of the point.

Nintendo should just let HDD'S be compatible with Switch and then those that want to use their switch in TV mode only can play as many games as they want until their hearts content.

And yes I know plenty of people use their switch in handheld but at least give the option for those that do predominantly use TV mode.
