Been wanting to say this for a while but Sony and MS must have shifted a ton of the cheaper black Friday consoles.  I know they sold out but I just can't see how they wouldn't have shipped a boat load.

But this is still a thread about Amazon sales. Amazon sales rankings and such are regularly posted throughout the thread, not NPD figures. "Amazon" is in the thread title, not "NPD". NPD has its own monthly thread.

Amazon sales as a possible indicator of what hardware may be ahead in NPD, as it's only been wrong a handful of times. Following Amazon sales just to follow them without this notion behind it is kind of lame.

Amazon sales as a possible indicator of what hardware may be ahead in NPD, as it's only been wrong a handful of times. Following Amazon sales just to follow them without this notion behind it is kind of lame.

This is why this thread was made in the first place. Gamestop is a much more popular retailer for consoles (the top in fact), but we're not following their online sales. Know why? Because they're wildly inaccurate towards guessing the outcome of NPD.
