What did I just read? |
Seems people misunderstood, it terms of winning Amazon for the month of November, PS4 is ahead because there was cut off of a couple days where Xbox was getting sales that will go towards December in November. So it doesn’t matter how high it’s getting after the cut off date.
Megiddo said: Japan doesn't take too kindly to showing their WW2 allies in a negative light. Most of their media influenced by WW2 Germany portrays them as neutral or sometimes even a positive light. From anime classics like Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Mobile Suit Gundam to more recent light novels like Tanya the Saga of Evil the forces representing Germany are power-hungry but never shown parallel atrocities to the Nazis. Wolfenstein goes against their revisionist WW2 history. Also shooters aren't that big other than Call of Duty. |
Cod ww2 seems to be selling pretty well in Japan.

Okay but this is an Amazon thread. |
Yeah but isn't the primary function of the thread to predict who wins npd?
Been wanting to say this for a while but Sony and MS must have shifted a ton of the cheaper black Friday consoles. I know they sold out but I just can't see how they wouldn't have shipped a boat load.

"exclusives don't sell hardware"
According to the NPD Group, which tracks U.S. video game sales, the Nintendo Switch system was the No. 1 video game hardware in November, followed by the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system in the No. 2 spot. When combined with the SNES Classic and Nintendo 3DS family of systems, Nintendo systems accounted for more than one-third of all video game hardware sold in the United States for the third month in a row. The U.S. video game industry achieved hardware sales of more than 3 million total units in November for the first time since 2008.
Spoiler alert! This is a joke post. Please don’t take it seriously 😊

In a dystopian future: The gaming market has crashed. Developers went out of business. Making money with games is almost impossible now. There are only 4 games left that result in profit: GTA V - for some reason still selling a lot after its port to the latest console / handheld generation. Pokemon - Gamefreak ran out of ideas for game titles long ago but Pokemon Fork & Spoon still sell. Skyrim - now available on every refridgerator, smart toilet and smart door, Skyrim has a lot of potential left after Bethesda released the Ultimate Remaster Edition V5 And Just Dance for the Wii still has its yearly release... :D |
I'd say Mario still sells in that future
