Why would it?! If a 199,- BF bundle can’t do that, why would a 189,- single console do that, when it’s essentially a worse deal?!

I mean, I thought about that and you are right but its the only path forward even if the chance is really Slim (no pun intended).  What I am noticing is that PSVR is selling really well and the reason for that is that you don't need a Pro to use it.  In other words, there is still a lot of value in the standard PS4.  This doesn't translate to the Xbox One S.  Its almost like in order to sell the Xbox One X, they had to destroy the image of the S.   Its been $199 longer than the PS4... so what happened here?

And they have the 4K Blu Ray player? Is that not an incentive?

Welp, it looks like the Switch's stock is what's killing it.

I think MS have muddied their own water with X, on two counts. On one hand they should have kept Scorpio as the name, not split it across 2 sku's, this has no doubt caused confusion.

Secondly lots of multi-plat devs have made scaling resolution systems it seems. These may well have had a little negativity for the pro, but it looks like all that effort to keep the original consoles in parity has gone out the window, with PS4 usually 1080 all the time now. But the regular Xbox versions look to have dropped way behind. I know casuals don't usually care about that, but the message will get through that because of the X, the S version is getting devalued.

I was uncertain about who would do better in npd ms or Sony, even the last couple days with PS4 domination I was uncertain. But I just saw the deal GameStop is giving out for PS4. Its over between them 2. I doubt GameStop will be able to keep them on shelfs. Makes me want to buy it(plan was to hold out for another 6-18 months).

I care more about Xbox and the X doing well then if they 'win' anyway. I'm hoping for 1.1 million total and 400k for the X.
