Gonna have to get Amazon prime again, aren't I?

It's dirt cheap, I took a starting deal package which costs me only 3 euros per month for 6 months, and then onwards it costs 6 euros. It's basically 1/4 the price of my Netflix at present. And they have other awesome, original content as well. American Gods and The Grand Tour alone are easily worth it, then there are other great shows as well, and lots of documentaries you won't find elsewhere.

Here  I thought The Tick was the only original thing worth watching on Prime.  I'll try to remember to check this one out when I get caught up on Hulu.

Love these guys. I can't wait for it to be released, hopefully seeing some improvements over season 1.

Yep, all they really need to do is go off script more and drop celebrity brain crash. Jeremy, James, and Richard have proven time and again that they're at their funniest when they aren't scripted and are free to just be themselves, that's why the Top Gear Christmas Specials were so popular, they were just the 3 of them exploring a region of the world on a multi-day road trip, being themselves. As for Celebrity Brain Crash, it was a clever way for them to poke fun at the BBC's legal team for trying to block The Grand Tour from having celebrity guests, but it got old pretty quickly, best to drop it now.

The trailer is promising, the dialogue sounds like it isn't as heavily scripted as the first season was.

Completely agree with this! The celebrity thing was funny the first time, and then just annoying and tedious every time after that. Would definitely be good if it was less scripted too. I'd much prefer no script really, like you said when they went off on their Top Gear specials and just got up to whatever they wanted, those are the time when they're at their best!

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

No more celebrity brain crash confirmed!

Hooray! Celebrities won't die anymore... unless they drive that thing.

Also, do you think they'll open the season with the "episode" with Hammond crashing, to explain why he goes with crutches?

Is he still on crutches? Didn't realize that.

I do think they'll open on that Rimac vs Lambo vs NSX supercar episode probably, just like they opened on the big Porsche vs Ferrari vs McLaren hypercar battle last season. The Africa special (which you can see scenes from in the trailer) will air around Christmas probably.

Well, I took the battle of the three supercars from the first season as them acknowledging that they owed that to the Top Gear fans.

After all, they talked about having that showdown since they tried the three cars when they still where on the show so, starting with that, was like them saying "maybe this is no longer Top Gear, but we are Top Gear".

True, they did promise that 3 way hyper-car battle before the end of season 22 of Top Gear, after multiple delays thanks to McLaren and Ferrari arguing over what track to do the test on and what kind of tires would be allowed, and then before that could happen Jeremy punched the producer and didn't get his contract renewed as a result, so we never did get the test on Top Gear. So it's understandable they wanted to open with that test on The Grand Tour.

I do still think we'll see the Rimac vs Lambo vs NSX episode first this season though. It's just a good way to open a season, doing a battle between 3 expensive cars, and like you said, they will want to explain why Richard is on crutches, as well as why the Grand Tour tent isn't moving each week this season (Richard's knee injury from the Rimac crash and Jeremy's battle with pneumonia a few months ago are why the tent isn't moving this season, their doctor's ordered them to travel less until they've made a full recovery).

I didn't knew that the tend wouldn't move. I guess it's ok, safety comes first, even for those three.

Yeah, they set it up close to Jeremy's home in the Cotswolds this season, which is centrally located between James' house in London and Richard's house in Ross-on-Wye.
