I support this. I like both elements, but I always notice something is missing from multiplayer only games (that I spent 60 bucks on). It tends to not be a 100% satisfying experience.
Also Couch Cooperative Campaigns so I can play with humans in the same room. GASP! It's why I didn't buy Halo 5 new. I got it second hand (and still haven't played it hardly at all.)
Zelda and Metroid. Still 2 of my most favorite series of all time. I've been playing them since their first installment. Same goes for the first 9 or so Final Fantasy games.

Exactly. Change happens. The mainstream will decide what stays and what goes based on what they buy. All the pound signs in the world won't change that.
I sure love them. And while i don't thing this # will change anything, keep spreading dude, all my support to you.
I don't get it. If there is demand, the companies will make the product. If they don't, someone else will step in and service the market. *shrugs*

Single-Player games are better for the industrie because you can only play a Multiplayer game as long as the company who made it continue to support the game. Single-Player games don't rely on the game's userbase or on the online network for you to enjoy.
I think those microtransactions would happen anyways, regardless of a game being multiplayer or single-player.
