Awww, that sucks. Right in the fall season too going into the holiday. Well, I enjoyed Dead Space 1 and 2, and the Star Wars game sounded promising, but it sounds like they're about to give it the GaaS making it a little less appealing on my end.
Sorry this went down. But it's hardly shocking given the parent company.

It was like the more I read of the statement, the more terrible it got. Like, if someone were going to personally design a statement from a game company to try and piss me off the maximum amount, this would be it. I'm stunned at how much they completely nailed it.

That gif is from Star Wars 1313, the game LucasArts was working on when it was purchased by Disney, who cancelled the game.
OT: It's a real shame. A story based game in the Star Wars universe could have been a big hit.
And EA ... well, they had left their evil side on hold for a while now, regaining the trust of some of its lost customers in the process, even despite the Andromeda failure. I guess they couldn't hold it back anymore.
Please excuse my bad English.

I realize I haven't bought, actually bought, and EA Game since...well...Dead Space. I got the Mass Effects games because my wife is a huge fan, but I haven't got anything for myself in ages. And to think...15 years ago EA was a name that could almost do no wrong.
How times change.
I'm upset I'll likely never see another Burnout game, nor probably a proper Dead Space game.
EA can, surely, go fuck themselves.

I assume he posted it because there were rumors that the Visceral game would be a spiritual revival of 1313. |
Really? I didn't hear any of those rumors.

He called it sadly.
And enougj of this "our customer's tastes are always" evolving BS. That's not way you're trying t shove games as a service, microtransactions, lootboxes, forced online and multiplayer components, and all your other crap down everyone's throats. It's greed, naked greed, and you are fooling no one.
Ouch...thats kind of a big deal. There was a lot of talent there. Sad that they haven't really been able to use it to its fullest for a while.
