Every year gets worse for the Forza name due to milking the series. The only reason why FH3 was even on the charts for so long was due to bundling.

As I just wrote in another thread:

This is not to downplay Forza Horizon 3's sales but I agree that it's odd to point out that GT games are bundled a lot and then ignore that it's difficult to buy an Xbox One S in Europe where Forza Horizon 3 isn't included.

For instance, we have UK where Forza Horizon 3 has very healthy numbers. Amazon UK offers 15 different Xbox One S bundles and 10 of these include Forza. Of the 5 bundles without Forza, only 1 is sold directly by Amazon.

Xbox One S 500GB + Forza Horizon 3
Xbox One S 500GB + Forza Horizon 3 + Hot Wheels DLC
Xbox One S 500GB + Forza Horizon 3 + Fifa 18
Xbox One S 500GB + Forza Horizon 3 + Fifa 18 + Overwatch
Xbox One S 500GB + Forza Horizon 3 + Destiny 2
Xbox One S 500GB + Battlefield 1
Xbox One S 500GB + Minecraft
Xbox One S 1000GB + Forza Horizon 3
Xbox One S 1000GB + Forza Horizon 3 + Halo Wars 2
Xbox One S 1000GB + Forza Horizon 3 + Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Xbox One S 1000GB + Forza Horizon 3 + 2nd controller
Xbox One S 1000GB + Forza Motorsport 6

Xbox One S 1000GB + Gears of War 4
Xbox One S 1000GB + Gears of War 4 + Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Xbox One S 1000GB + Fifa 17

Am I crazy or does FH3 have a chance of outselling FM7 in 2017?

I don't think there ia even a chance for 7 to sell more than what H3 sold on the fidst 9 months of the year. If Microsoft will keep the bundles, H3 will sell more in tge last three months as well.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga remake really flopped.

Lol forza both amazes and dissapoints here. Forza 7 being a significant dip, over its predecessors, as well as horizon 3 having great legs. Where people show that horizon 3 was bundled with almost every Xbox one sku, it comes back to the question, why on earth would they do this? Cause it sells. Horizon is pretty much the only franchise Microsoft has popular in the U.K. More popular than gears of war and halo there. They are still into rAcing games there, unlike the US. As far as I remember there was no horizon 3 bundle until febuary/march, yet the game sold well over that time period as well, causing them to bundle to garner more X1 sales.

As for forza Motorsport, they should end it and make both teams go all in on horizon.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

This continues the trend of the downcline of Xbox Big 3 (Halo, Gears and Forza).

They should release (if possible) a Forza game that include both the Simulation Mode and Open World Mode, in other words mix the two franchises and make a Definitive Forza.

No FH3 was confirmed to sell 2.5 million by the end of 2016 and vgchartz still has it below 2 million. Either the game is undertracked or digital is high and since this is the third most popular franchise on Xbox it is safe to say digital for Halo and Gears are way higher. Also when FM6 released it was down from FM5 but by the end of 2015 it already surpass it's lifetime sales and FM7 is likely going to repeat that.

Look at my last sentence FM7 will likely pass FM6 by the end of the year.

Proud to be a Californian.

Released during a very busy week on a console overshadowed by its successor and on a market that's not very fond of Nintendo in the first place. This was inevitable, but to be fair, I'm sure the developement was really cheap, so I don't think they're dissapointed.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
