Since this took four years to make, and with minimal cars and tracks made, it better look this good. There are only five real tracks. Many cars have race clones, making the car count even abysmal than it looks. Disappointing to say the least.

I see the narrative has changed from "it looks like a PS2 game" to "the car count is absymal".

Personally, I'm looking forward to driving those 150 cars (more are coming post launch anyway).

If I remember correctly, past GT games were criticised for having too many models

Plus they plan on supporting it for years, with new cars & tracks ect.

Even that "sound" issue people claim, about GT always haveing worse car engine sounds ect, than forza, is fixed.

It looks and sounds better than forza.

Its going to have hundreds of cars, right from the start, and will get more over time.

I haven't been paying much attention to GT Sport. Holy flurking shnidt that looks pretty.

No one ever said that the game looks like ps2 except trolls. The graphics have always looked awesome (aside from the first closed beta). The 177 car count has been inflated a lot by 2 or 3 race variants of almost each car, so they can reuse assets for similar cars. The previous GT Games  were criticized for unbalanced car roster. Hundreds of Honda Civics and Mazda Miatas and other Japanese econoboxes, while lacking in ferraris and lambos.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

You have to be kidding, right? While GT sport has better car sounds, it's not even close to forza and project cars.

Also, by real tracks I meant  tracks that exist in real life, and aren't fictional.

Ok.

the go-to downplay is now "it took 4 years" and "only 150 cars" lol, anti sony dudes will always find something, it amazes me every time

i'll be getting this game as it looks fucking ace, it oozes quality and competitive racing sounds fun as i have no multiplayer games to play right now

Wow I haven't bought a GT game since the PS2 days. I definitely wanna get this now. I have Forza 7 now and it's great as usual. Glad PS jumped back in the car racing game. PlayStation with GT, Xbox with Forza, and Nintendo with MK (and hopefully Diddy Kong Racing). Yes I know there's a difference between Kart, Arcade, and real driving sims.

Tracklist seems a little poor in my opinion, hopefully they'll add more as DLC or something... other than that though, it definitely LOOKS good, and I'm still excited to play it, so yeah...

Agreed. A fully featured GT7 would've been better.

The folks at PD are really taking their time. I don't know if we'll even have 1 PS4 exclusive mainline GT game (with a traditional campaign). Let alone 2 as the other PS home consoles

Sorry...just watch the latest videos. GTS sounds more realistic than Forza for sure this time. Forza has actually fallen behind in that regard.

just watch the latest Nürburgring night racing footage:

Could watch this all day!!!
