Considering I already wait for games I'm dying to play because I can't play them at the moment, yeah, the answer remains unchanged.

It would be interesting to see DLC stats for games. How many who bought the initial game bought the DLC, etc etc.
I would rather timed DLC because I have yet to see a game where DLC was a required item that finished a story (episodic games excluded based on their nature) and typically only pick up DLC for games that I absolutely want more of after I finish with the initial product offering.
I never buy DLC, so I'll go with that as it doesn't affect me at all.

Ofen it's free DLC that though, not paid. |
Even then, I already have a Switch, PS4 and XB1, so I guess I don't have to worry
I would rather "Wait for Full Game".
That's if we're talking about good, high-quality, story-based DLC. Waiting for the full game should mean that all DLC is there, ready to play.
I say this because my experience with waiting for Fallout: New Vegas DLC really pissed me off. I'd just finished the game, which I loved, and I was ready for more--until I found out that Microsoft's timed exclusivity deal on the Dead Money DLC was ONLY for Xbox. PC owners had to wait just like Playstation owners.
That meant that by the time the DLC came out, I had already moved on to another game. I would have bought the DLC at full price immediately but, instead, I waited until I replayed New Vegas much later and picked up all the DLC at a steep discount in the Xmas Sale.

I don't usually buy DLCs, but I honestly prefer to wait for the whole game. Wait a year for a game and it usually comes with every single DLC released in a single disc. Waiting for DLC just guarantees that I won't buy the game at all because I only bought games in their full version. Also, I think that time exclusivity is more justifiable for a whole package rather than for just some content.

Sony's practice of buying timed or fully exclusive DLC for 3rd party games is legit one of the worst practices in the modern gaming industry, after pay to win microtransactions and slowed progression in order to encourage buying microtransactions. |
What are the differences with Microsoft's practices?

I usually wait for games in most cases, so give me the full version altogether.

I look at it like you are buying Spiderman Homecoming.
You are getting the whole movie.
There is one version that include 15 minutes of deleted scenes and a bloopers reel.
The other not.
I would watch the movie Day One.
The extra content is not worth the time that i will have to wait while others are enjoying the game.
