Forums - Sony - Street Fighter V: Arcade edition $40, January 16

Only took them two years!

Around the Network

If this is like SF4 then you know there'll be an Ultra SF5 coming later.....so I'll keep waiting.

good that it is free for previous owners

Just so I understand, as on owner of SFV, I get everything? There was so much missing content and paid DLC that I haven't touched the game in probably over a year. This could bring me back.

I clicked the link. Looks good. I may rejoin the fight. Considering this was the game that made me sign up for PS+ and purchase a $60 controller, I hope it's everything I dream it is!

I have always been on the fence about this game.
I really wanted it, but the confusion about what in fact comes packed with it, what comes as free updates, what comes as paid dlc, made me nuts.
I personally saw many early buyers dissapointed with the lack of a story mode and even a local versus mode.

I may pick this one if it comes with the story mode. If it don´t have a story mode, I´ll pass.... and keep playing KOF XIV

About damn time. This game was practically Street Fighter Beta up until this point.

Well, I guess I'll get this version then ;-P I wonder if it'll come with any of the DLC costumes, though.

I still can't believe they had the nerve to launch the game without an arcade mode. I have all of the season 1 characters. Should I buy the second season pass or just buy the entire Arcade edition? Does it include the DLC stages in the free update? The only paid DLC I bought was sexy Ryu costume. Worth it.

You get all the new modes and balance changes. Not the DLC. New consumers get all the characters. It's essentially a GOTY type release. The good thing is. The new single player modes, arcade mode and extra battle mode, add more ways earn characters without spending real money.
