Nope. Only the last two are assault rifles. The first is a semi-automatic rifle.

https://www.britannica.com/technology/assault-rifle

"Assault riflemilitary firearm that is chambered for ammunition of reduced size or propellant charge and that has the capacity to switch between semiautomatic and fully automatic fire."

You can turn semi auto into fully.  Also, I don't like semi automatics.  You can fire a semi pretty damn fast (fires just as fast as you pull the trigger).  I have a feeling you would feel less of a man with a bolt action rifle.

Guess what, you might be surprised. I down own any guns.

The overwhelming majority of guns in this country are semi-automatic, this has been the case since the late 19th century. Banning semi-automatic is practically banning the majority of guns, which ain't happening.

One can only dream.  Repeating rifles didn't come out till around the Civil War which is 1860 while most soldiers at start and throughout war still used the single shot muzzle loaders.

I don't believe repeating rifle is semi automatic because you still had to cock the gun between each shot I believe.  I'm not a gun expert but I don't think that qualifies it as semi auto which you cock once and then just pull the trigger till the magazine is spent.

You literally just admitted that you only care about the politics of shooters when it fits your agenda aka when its muslims...

LOL! What a load of bullshit. He clearly used ISIS as an example because ISIS and Islam in general has become an common motivator for attacks.

Islam in general?! You’re out of your mind.

Permalite, Australia has 18M people back then. 18M v 323M. It's common sense that it's nowhere near the same. Australia is massive landwise but the majority of people are concentrated in the capital cities or around them.

Of course, that's why we have this wonderful statistic called homicide rate, which takes in account population:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate

The US has 4.88/100 000 people, versus 0.98 in australia (and similar numbers in other fully devellopped nations.)

For its development, there is no question that the US is an outlier, in its violence.

True but how many of that is due to gang activity? I think that skews the data a lot.

So we should just legalize drugs and put the gangs out of business which would lead to less violence.

I feel like you misinterpreted what I said, but for the sake of not arguing I prefer you think I'm crazy.

Couldn't hurt, so maybe gang infested cities should try legalization first. Like Chicago and LA.

The gang situation tends to be in certain areas. So they could tinker with things there without making the rest of country legalized for drugs.

So people who have a problem with drug addicts (most of us), know to stay the fuck out of those cities. While junkies can live free and gangs would hopefully get less powerful in those areas.

I don't know exactly how wide-spread gangs are in the US, but take in consideration that every single US state has a homicide rate higher than Germany, and all but 1 have homicide rate above that of Australia.

While gangs in detroit, new york, etc... do contribute significantly, I think that it's fair to say that violence is definitely a more general problem in the country

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

The stats say about 50% of violent crime in this country is gang related. So those idiots primarily killing each other really inflates our numbers.

I have argued for years the US has a violence problem in general compared to some other devloped countries. Even with guns ignored our non-gun killing are pretty high compared to other countries.
