Another telling sign other than previews (one of which I posted in an earlier thread) is that Microsoft PR spokesman always list Too Human when they run off their "big titles" coming this year.  Traditionally, companies don't do this if they realize their product is crap.

I would get Haze, but it's kind of the perfectly wrong time for me, though I might get it in the summer

 Yeah , just like Haze :P But IMO the expectattions for TH are much bigger than for Haze , so the dissapointment may be much bigger to ...

EDGE didn't review it did they? In previews they can be pretty positive, it's in the reviews the truth comes out....

Free Radical Design, the dev behind Haze, have ONLY done amazing games up until now.

So frankly, I think this will end up somewhere between 'good' and 'very good'.
From what I saw, I think it will lean more towards the 'good', but I hope the co-op wil make it stand out.

Multiplayer, they've got no chance of beating COD4.

Will it sell? Well, two weeks behind GTA4, and two weeks before the release of MGS4... They're gonna have a hard time sales wise.

A Ubisoft spokesperson has told Eurogamer that Haze will "definitely" be released on 23rd May.

OT: Will it reach 1m sales? Maybe but very slowly, depending on how well they pull off the co-op and online. If not, then I see this at 500k, which in this day and age is mostly 'phail'.

Also, remember most PS3 owners (heck most of the gaming world) will still be playing GTA4.

True enough, but Microsoft also doesn't have quite as much to hype right now as Sony does. Also, the developer, Dennis Dyaac (sp?) is very vocal on his own, unlike anyone from Free Radical. Doesn't Haze also have 4-player co-op like Too Human does? I think the comparisons are fair. Too Human has been famously delayed like Duke Nukem and Daikatana but is getting positive press lately and shows promise (one of the few 360 games not going to PC, I think, that I am interested in). Haze was only delayed months, but is going through the same phase of trying to re-prove itself and justify its delays. We shall see if they turn out well.

Yeah I'm just gonna let the nay-sayers naysay all they want :P I have a gut feeling that this game is going to be absolutely amazing :) And if it's not, it'll be the first time that gut-feeling throws me off :P Mad love for the Free Radical ^^

Haze is just one of those games that ps3 fan boys shout about how great they are gonna be, but turn into disappointments. How many times has that happened for the ps3 this gen?
