Also someone bought Troll and I which is an even bigger crime.

Troll and I has a good icon though. Seeing it, even though I know how shitty it is, still makes me tempted to buy it. Luckily its shittiness was vocal enough to overshadow any good icon/boxart.

First world problems, whatever. It's good Marketing. Also it will take a company all of like 10 minutes to find a good icon and update. Hell, everyone on this site could make a cool icon for whatever game you name in like 10 minutes and post it to this site. Super easy.

I heard about this, and I sighed. Maybe they should be open to customizable icons in the future so they don't have to bother with this trite gamer issue.

I'll admit, I thought the Snake Pass Logo looked a little cheap next to the official Nintendo ones, but I thought that was just my artsy fartsy snobbishness about design and moved on. *ducks out*

That's normal, box-arts & icons need to be gorgeous, it makes you feel comfortable & drives you play the game.

Also, good games with bad box-arts/icons(or opposite bad games with good box-arts/icons) could be misled, they're part of advertisement as the matter of fact.
