No it was the controller. It's done that many times, and I have another one that works just fine. The problem is they look the same so I often turned on the wrong one by accident. It was hard to turn it off because everytime I tried to click "turn of the controller" it exited the menu before I could click it.
LOL I feel like I should have done it a long time ago.
