Forums - Nintendo Discussion - First Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 Switch Gameplay footage

So... I watched both videos and I do not see the pointer like controls of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. And then I go look at a page and it says motion controls are for reloading and swinging the knife.

Unless I missed something, I believe I will end up massively disappointed.

Never mind, I read somewhere else that the motion controls are for pointing. My hopes just raised a little. I know it will not be as good as pointer controls but it is better than dual analog, for sure!

Edit: now I am being told the motion controls only work while standing still and holding a button to aim. Wtf? What is the truth here? Anyone help me out?

Err you can see the reps hands when they're playing the game in the first video.

I wish the Revelations 2 footage was more close-up, it's kind of hard to see how it looks. I guess we'll get comparison videos soon enough though.

Meh. Give us a new Ghouls n’ Ghost.

I can but only when the character is standing still. It looks like she is holding ZR and using gyro. However, when the character is moving, she uses dual analog. Which is confusing.

She has both active and uses which ever she prefers at the time.

Motion controls and survival and horror are a match made in heaven.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

It does not look to be that way. It looks as I was told. But I most definitely hope I was misinformed.

I like it. On the fence for Rev2. Already have 1 on Wii U.
