Japanese cartoons are cool but unless they are translated over to English then I wouldn't even bother with them. That being said only Japanese cartoons I ever enjoyed were Cowboy Bebop and Dragon Ball Z.

I'm honestly not sure. I will say manga is typically much better than American comics, but it's hard to prefer American or Japanese cartoons. Both fill up certain interests that the other doesn't

American. VGC has a lot of weeks so I expect Japanese cartoon to win.
