Mario Kart (pre version)
Impressions :
A very good game without any doubt. It is what everybody expected with some new gameplay improvement (motos, weapons). But, surprisingly, there are some frame rate drop and considering how the game is technically simple, even for the Wii, this is clearly not expected. Maybe the final version will have a stable frame rate.

U can drive motos that offer a quite different gameplay (special move using the Wiimote)

HAZE (pre version)
Impressions :
It is not so news, not so amazing (technically) but since it is a preview based only on some chapters of the campaign we have the feeling it is a bit early to conclude on this game. Maybe it will end well (multiplayer anyone ?)

Too close of Halo3 or others FPS, not enought identity despite Nectar
some aera/texture remember Wii game and are quite ugly
nothing really new except Nectar that u will sadly have to forget for the second part of the game when u play as a rebel

Considering pretty much every video I have seen shows the player using the mantel's reliance on nectar against them, I don't see how you'd forget about it.

bah! I'm sure haze is better than this review.

As for Mario Kart Wii I'd expect it to fetch at least an 87 rating (high 80's).

They criticise Haze for being generic and yet praise MK - even though every version is essentially the same? Eh..

 You can use it for the first half of the game, but not the second half

yea that nectar thing seems like its your only weapon in the game. thats why im not getting it. the game looks plain crusty now.

THIS.

But EDGE magazine gave Haze a raving preview...  And EDGE is really tough.

I wonder how MK Wii can have bad frame-rate when it's not doing too much graphically.
