Forums - Sony - Monster Hunter World Release Date, Limited Edition PS4 Pro Announced - Simply Beautiful

Capcom have announced a new limited edition Monster Hunter-themed PS4 Pro. The console is set to be released this December, and sports a sleek black design with a silhouette of one of the game’s most iconic monsters, the Rathalos. The only color on the console itself is in the form of fire coming from the Rathalos’ mouth as it prepares to attack.

The controller is probably the coolest part of this custom design; sporting a wine-red base, the controller is adorned with markings that serve to remind you of the Rathalos once again. On the right-hand grip is a small logo for Monster Hunter World.

A release date for Monster Hunter World was also announced at January 26, 2018. Very soon, considering the game was only announced back at E3. The PS4 pro will be releasing just before the game on December 7, 2017, so anyone wanting to get the PS4 for the sole purpose of playing Monster Hunter will have plenty of time to do so.

dam was hoping this one wouldn't be japan only

Sick bundle, and a great chance for me to finally get a PS4... But I'm not giving Capcom any money. Screw them.

Not a bundle, though. You don't get the game.

There is a download code. So you will get the game when the game is released in January

Now THAT, is how you do a sexy limited Edition.

Screw that ugly CoD WW design.

The demand for this PS4 in Japan will be enormous. Sony better start producing a million units ASAP.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Except they already stated the bundle would be really limited + it's probably still way too pricey for the majority of people interested.

If its really limited edition then I cant understand why they are releasing it a month and a half before the release of the game until or unless they want to push their console numbers? So, I think making anything below 50k units and releasing it in the holiday season is just don't make sense. if they are producing so just like 10 - 20 k units then they can easily sell those units with the launch of the game.

The only purpose of the early release of the limited edition in my view is to boost the hardware sales during the biggest sales time of the year.

Just my 2 cents
