The amount of games sold according VGC is far too low (even if they don't track digital sales).

I don't remember wether Nintendo official numbers are shipped + digital or sold through + digital.

VGC are retail only and sold through. So if Nintendo numbers are shipped + digital, VGC numbers are not as bad (Games are still undertracked though...). If Nintendo numbers are sold through + digital, VGC numbers are way off...

Anyway, this is why I did put official numbers in the OP. VGC estimates are only that, estimates...

You could add the titles that they released only in Japan like Monster Hunter XX HD, Dragon Quest Heroes 1 & 2, Seiken Densetsu Collection, and others.

Ohh I forget, you could use MediaCreate or Famitsu for Official Numbers in Japan :)

Well, I was not planning to add Japan only game initially. I don't like Japan only games because I can't play them...lol. 

I think VGC uses Media Create numbers for Japanese market anyway. I guess I could add Japan only games when they appear on VGC and add up to date numbers (at least the last MC numbers we have) in the "Official" box.

I will have to think in the future about how to handle the thread maintenance as the number of games increases... The OP will probably become a Top 50 or 100 depending on my motivation ;). And I can still use second post to keep track of every retail releases.

Let me think about this one but I guess there is no real reason for Japanese only games not to be in here.

well.. i think that will be a good add for the Thread, many games launches exclusively or earlier in Japan, so its my opinion.. consider it please :)
