Nintendo should not spend money to bring third party games to the NS.

It doesn't need it, people buy the NS to play Nintendo games, and so far the platform has done that well.

All Nintendo needs to do is make sure that we don't get periods such as early 2018, without any big hitters.

Really looking forward to see what they can do with the big Pokemon game.

Well as someone who only owns a Switch in this gen, I for one appreciate any third party games that can be brought to the Switch.  While the only third party games I've gotten so far have been indies like Stardew Valley and Shovel Knight, I'm looking to get Wolfenstein II and ARK when they are released and would certainly be interested in some others if they were ported to Switch.

What were you doing before the switch came out? Not playing anything?

What are the prices of the million+ selling digital only games for the Switch?

Is that really relevant? There is a good number of games in this retail games list that were not full price physically or went on sale a few months after release (like many third-party games tend to do).

Pretty much as expected. Nintendo makes up 70% of all software sales for the Switch. People get a Switch to play Nintendo games, not third-party games.

It's pretty normal to have first party games drive the sales for a Nintendo handheld for the first couple of years.  It takes third party companies a couple of years to make a game, and they want to be sure the system is selling well on top of that.  I expect to see an extremely strong third party lineup on Switch in years 2019+.

Pretty much, yeah.  I grew up on NES and Genesis but sorta fell away from gaming for about 12 years when I got married.  Now I have kids old enough to be into games so I got the Switch mostly for them (ARK would be for my son more than me) but have since gotten the bug myself to play again.

Cool to see people get back into gaming via their kids. I'd recommend you play Wolfenstein: The New Order before playing Wolfenstein II though.

Nice job!
