So Sony won every single year this gen in games, and Nintendo drops their biggest franchises all in one year.... and it's still a debate vs Sony?
Honestly you have
RESIDENT EVIL 7(biggest franchise release in years)
HORIZON ZERO DAWN(top 3 GOTY contender, best new ip this year)
DESTINY 2(Biggest game release of the year)
STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 2(biggest starwars game in years)
NIER(best square enix game in years)
NIOH(best hack in slash in years)
PERSONA 5(arguably a GOTY contender)
CRASH REMAKE(best remake in years)
UNCHARTED THE LOST LEGACY(best Uncharted since Uncharted 4)
GRAN TURISMO
OKAMI HD
ASSASSINS CREED ORIGINS(biggest AC in years)
GRAVITY RUSH 2
CALL OF DUTY(biggest ip coming out this year in sales)
KINGDOM HEARTS FRANCHISE re releases
GHOST RECON
FF XII
MARVEL VS CAPCOM 2
Vs
ZELDA
ARMS
MARIO KART 8
MARIO ODYSSEY
SKYRIM(already on ps4 as a better version)
DOOM(already on ps4 as a better version)
Pokken Tournament
SPLATOON 2
XENOBLADE 2
and?
How is Nintendo winning?
Switch is amazing do not get me wrong but they are FAR behind in games...... I personally am looking forward to mario odyssey and the Nintendo arcade games coming(I really want GameCube and wii virtual console support on switch).....

Switch also has Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Xenoblade 2, and Fire Emblem Warriors. This is a bad thread man, but it doesn't mean you need to skew your list like that. It just creates a low quality comment.
Personally I think PS4 exclusives vs Switch exclusives is very debatable.

Ps4 also has yakuza kiwami and 0, kingdom hearts 2.8, kingdom hearts1.5 and 2.5, final fantasy 12 zodiac age and stormblood, wipeout collection, gravity rush 2. To be fair he also only mentioned a few ps4 exclusives

Of course. That's very true.
However, I think the problem I have is that it's easy making lists, it's hard making games. Games do not live in a vacuum and adding more and more games to make a point for either platform is negating any context to them. Playstation 4 has significantly more exclusives than Switch, but i'm not sure heralding Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 12 Remaster, Stormblood, or Wipeout collection as serious contenders is doing much for a great argument. In comparison, specifically with holding games like Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Fire Emblem Warriors, or Xenoblade 2 is doing serious face to one platform.
I guess it's really a contradiction of sorts. On the one hand you could consider looking at specific exclusives as seeing the market in a vacuum, since it's ignoring what games like Final Fantasy 12 Remaster offer. On the other hand, you could consider just pilling game after game on a list as looking at the market in a vacuum, since a lot of those titles are not setting the same precidence.
More often then not I'd prefer to look at the original context because it offers a more intersting and I feel fair fight from a quality standpoint.
I'd argue the real list of exclusives for both is :
Switch :
Breath of the Wild
Arms
Splatoon 2
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Fire Emblem Warriors
Super Mario Odyssey
Xenblade 2
PS4 :
Yakuza 0
Gravity Rush 2
Nioh
Horizon Zero Dawn
(I guess you .. might be able to include Nier? It sold more than half a million on PC ... it's pretty far from a PS centric game)
Persona 5
MLB The Show
Crash Insane Trilogy
Uncharted The Lost Legacy
Knack 2
GT Sport
Of course this is all barring that on the PS4 2 of those games are just sports titles and one of them is ... Knack.
Personally I believe PS4 will probably win this year in exclusives anyways, but that's only because third party.
And of course the poster was talking about the market value of PS, which would include third party titles, while conveniently negating why Doom or Skyrim would have market value for Switch. So even if we don't talk just exclusives and we don't look at things in a vacuum, we're negating what positive benefits third party games have on Switch.

Yes, this year alone they brought better exclusives than Sony for numerous years combined. Hardly even a contest.
What did Sony bring this year? Knack 2, some Golf game, Gravity Rush 2, a spin-off Uncharted game and Horizon.
It's really not even a contest.

Why are you trying to steal credit when Sony had nothing to do with most of these games?

How is a game being portable make it better? Are you really going to be playing these games outside of your house?
Hmm... For Nintendo-only users, definitely. However, outside of Zelda and Mario, there doesn't seem to be much else. Sure, there's some good third party support, but outside of offering said games in portable, they will be the worst versions of that game. Not that it matters much, but I still don't see those third party games selling all that well on Switch, and there's still a lot of names missing. Plus, PS4's lineup this year has been very solid as well. As an owner of both systems, my PS4 still gets a lot more use, especially with D2 and Knack 2 right now.
