Just to clarify, why are developers like KOEI, Nippon Ichi and others out of this poll again? I don't understand the explanation of keeping it "realistic".

Your poll seems to be more about the best publisher rather than the best developer. None of those companies hold a candle to Treasure, but since they are not big enough to publish their own games no one cares about them. I am always extremely saddened when I realize just how much credit the general public will give to publishers who sometimes have nothing at all to do with the game development.

It's a tough choice between Square and Konami; Square have provided me with 3 FFs and 2 KHs, but Konami have given my 3 PESs, which are basically my favourite games
