I don't have an avatar, signature, or anything.

I want people to read my statements, not focus on stuff other people made.

Not judging people with avatars, signatures, GIFs, etc; if you like them, good for you, keep on using 'em.

They're just not something I want to do.

Doesn't it work both ways? The fact that you don't have an avatar makes some people focus more on the fact that you don't have an avatar rather than your statements.

Yeah, I guess I was thinking of that myself, whenever I see someone without an avy, I'm thinking that they should get an avy

That isn't all my avatars I've used.  I used one that just had Nintendo logo (white with red letters) and then a Nintendo logo with my name in front when I first joined the site.  I then went through a couple bs ones for less than a day (a F Zero one and a few others) before landing on this one.  I remember the switch because someone made a rate avatar thread and that was when I bounced around a few ones before landing on current one.

In that link it only shows my current one and when I switched to a pic of me wearing a Smash shirt for a day or two.

I think it dates back to the last site layout change.

Mine matters enough to me that after I had this one for 2 or 3 days....


....I thought to myself: Self, not everybody is going to like this, or find it funny. In fact, some people might think you're a ghoul. So, in a semi-panicked rush to change it, I made mine a selfie, which is what it has remained for the last 6-7 weeks.
