Same.
It's nice to know that coders with my level of skill in coding can still get jobs. Good on you, guys. Now go back to school.
So this game is a glued together piece of crap then? Good to know.

(Lower res, higher framerate) At normal, PS4 runs at 640p and Pro at 720p. In detail mode, PS4 is 720p and Pro is 1080p. Xbone One doesn't offer this option and is locked to 720p. |
You forgot to mention it runs like crap on the normal Xbox One S (at 720p, no V-sync, un-capped running with lots of stuttering).
Apparently it has the worst performance of the 3 (low fps), and stutters alot.
Digital foundry: "going back to this version (xbox one) after haveing played the PS4 & PS4pro, I definately felt... that its still not where it should be, and I found that going to play on xbox was alot more jarring experiance. There's just... you never get those moments of consistancy, that you get on the PS4, which kinda takes you out of the gameplay alot more often."
"It does seem almost like a scaleing of the best version you can buy, to the worst version"
Basically PS4pro > PS4 > Xbox One S.
Anyways Ark devs suck at optimising their game, and its still so damn buggy!

I actually avoided commenting on performance at all cos I kept getting lost trying to keep track of how it fared in every mode of every version, so I decided to let the video speak for itself.

To be fair, Destiny 2 does not have dinosaurs...
Time travel code does not run well on Jaguar cores it seems.

Well the Destiny team have a hell of a lot more resources behind them so no surprise there
Seems like a very bad game on my opinion

I don't know how different this is from the PC ARK game I've played over the past year+, but it initially gave me trouble back when I was sporting a Geforce 920. I made a number of improvements to allow for VR and 4k, though, and ever since I upgraded to the recent Titan (I almost never aim for top shelf hardware as it's admittedly a waste of money, but I made an exception for my HTC Vive and 4k monitor) it's able to run everything at max. I think at this point my processor is probably the choke point, but it doesn't seem to be an issue.
It's definitely one of the most resource-taxing games I've ever come across, especially if you're hosting a game with a few friends. I imagine any attempts to allow for VR headsets to be used in it like they're doing with many other AAA games would cause the computer to explode lol
