Sins of a Solar Empire
Galactic Civilizations II

Besides for being great strategy games, they are some of the only non copy protected games. That alone adds +2 to how I would rate any game for PC IMO.

 Yeah I didn't play TF2 for almost a month...I'm getting back into it though...rediscovering the classes I don't normally use and whatnot.

RTS: Total Annihilation and the SupCom games are definitely worth a look.

Historical Strategy: I like the Steel Panthers series personally. The first three games can be hard to come by and/or get to work, but Steel Panthers: World at War is a good game as well, and it's free.

FPS: The Deus Ex games. It's a bit dated compared to modern shooters, but the story and gameplay are still great IMO. The second one is definitely worse than the first, but it ain't really that bad.

20 minutes?? I have about 200 HOURS into TF2 and I'm still loving it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I saw that. Maybe if you get into a server filled with people that have no idea how to play as a team or something....but even then 20 minutes still seems way too short...

We all have our own opinions though. I can't stand CS.

 


Used to play TFC so I felt the changes made it too slow-paced for my liking.  Gotta love the conc jumps/infection.

Far Cry, the original PC version makes the console ports look like cat sh*t.

I'm playing Heroes of Might and Magic V right now. Great game. The human campaign is quite boring if you've already played HOMM games before, but it gets way better.
