Yh that is pretty much guaranteed. Although i expect it to be adjusted back up, possibly after NPD results, anyway.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Nintendo Switch will be at around 17 million shipped on March 3rd if Nintendo beats their forecast by a smidge. 

I don't think vgchartz will stand by 2.5 million on shelves, so yea, they will probably adjust up to 2 million or so on shelves.

So, 15 million sold through on March 3rd.

Though, these adjustments might come after we get worldwide shipment numbers at Nintendo's next financial meeting. 

We will see.

You can't deny we are long due for a Direct. Wii U owners have nothing to play. TF's price is unreasonable as well; it being a masterpiece doesn'tjustify $60 4 years later. Dark Souls Remastered has many more adjustments that differentiate it from the original and it's only $40. That aside, right now every new game for the Switch besides Kirby and Souls is "TBA" we need a Direct soon that confirms the dates. Look at me, I'm a Wii U owner and I've got tons to play, are we still living in a world were there are no games on Nintendo consoles? There's a lot of games, new games, games that has never graced Nintendo consoles before. There's more than Nintendo games on the Switch.

You're not wrong, except these games that you're referring to are indies, which don't increase Switch sales to the average consumer who goes into a store to buy electronics. If you're talking about AAA third party games, NBA and FIFA are the only reasonable games on the shelf (new titles that are around the same price on other platforms), DOOM and Skyrim are not worth buying for $60 if you don't care about portability, which appears to be a feature that a few people don't care about with the Switch, shockingly. Most people who buy Nintendo consoles are looking to buy their offerings first, and right now we could do with some more announcements from Nintendo, specifically to do with release dates for games that we already know of. We don't even know what date the SMO DLC releases this month is, and there's only a week left...

Actually, those are very good points. I've been hoping for a direct too. I was expecting a January one tbh, with details on XC2 DLC and was shocked when a M+S at winter Olympics 2018 wasn't announced. I will still be surprised if there isn't a direct in February. We need one!

The Switch has already shipped more than 15 mil units so yeah.
