Will pick up on ps4. If it's as good as AW I might have zero incentive to ever buy a Nintendo system in the future

I would take the Switch version of any game that is on both because of portability.

Agree.  Now that I can play them anywhere, I can actually finish games that would have normally taken me a year or more.

This is what I wanted. Wargroove disappointed me with the medieval setting. I want tanks!!

agree. Any game I can get in portable form, as long as there isn't much of a sacrifice in terms of performance. Will always be the version I get over a PS4 version of the same game.

Every 2D sprite based indy game I have decided I will always pick up on Switch over PC/PS4. Those are games I feel should always be on portable consoles. Any 3D game like a Sonic Forces on the other hand, I will probably pick up on the PS4 but the Switch version is tempting.

I'm at a point where graphics are less important than if a game is 60 or 30 FPS. But if a game is on the slow-paced or is sprite-based, I always go with portability.

As a result this type of game fits up my alley as a Switch game.

I doubt it'll be as good as Advance Wars, which is one of my favorite franchises, but if it gets even decent reviews I'll buy.

I'm not really a fan of Tiny Metal's art style. It looks like Battalion Wars for the GameCube. It just strikes the wrong cord of chibi art, and semi-realistic.

Wargroove on the other hand looks amazing. Is it aiming to be more like Fire Emblem, or is it aiming to be like Shining Force II? I'm getting a Shining Force II vibe from the art style myself.

For anyone that wants a game like Advance Wars, there's a browser game called Battalion: Nemesis that's not bad at all: http://www.kongregate.com/games/urbansquall/battalion-nemesis

I'm surprised Tiny Metal launches this Autumn, given that the game still has no page at Steam.
