Forums - Gaming - so i spent £400 for it to gather dust... *sigh*

I'm going to restate what I did last page, since it went unheeded.

That whole 'no game' excuse thing would have flown a year ago, but now, that will just not fly.

There are plenty of games to be had on the PS3, and if you don't like any of the games for the PS3, then maybe you just aren't looking hard enough.  Games worth playing on the PS3 abound, but I'm not going to list, because I'm sure that you have an excuse why each game isn't great, or why you personally don't like any game that I will state.

What I will do though, is tell you that your second comment, this:

Is absolute flamebait.  And there is no reason to say that, as it has nothing to do with the thread or what the OP stated.

dude thats kind of harsh!

as i said before racinng games aren't my thing. rented heavenly sword and completed it over the week i had it. not a ratchet fan, not so big on online gaming right now so warhawk seems like a waste of time, and haven't had a chance to play uncharted yet.

 as stated beofre this is my opinion and what is going on with my consoles. i'm not trolling the ps3 or its games either, i'm just waiting for something groundbreaking to hit, or something with a real fun factor!

LOL at the PS3 defenders. Seriously, how is my opinion wrong? Guess what - it's MY OPINION, not yours. So what if I don't sing the high praises of the PS3? It's a console that plays games and plays HD movies. That's it. Oh, and it can find the cure to diseases.

I have been gaming since the early 80s and have had heart-to-heart talks with devs, publishers and PR firms about video games when I was a journalist. And I've had video game consoles before some of you were born. I can tell you - being scared was the main reason I bought the PS3. I wanted full BC on a fairly new PS3 when I was reviewing video games. Now, with me firmly in the world of corporate spin and not reviewing as many games, it's utterly useless to me. I have tried and tried to find a redeeming factor or quality about the machine. Sorry, but I just can't. What I find soooooooooo very laughable is how folks will try to utterly convince folks to buy a console, give it a chance and say 'It's the best gaming experience on the planet.' That's a complete lie.

BCNR34 - thanks for pointing out my poor money management. Are you my financial adviser now? Maybe you should have screamed out "Intervention!!!!!" when I made the PS3 purchase. When I need some financial wisdom, you, my PS3-blinded friend, are the last person I'd trust.

I see the PS3 for what it is. That's it. And just because me, Starcraft and a few others aren't so quick to praise and rave about the PS3's saving graces our posts are considered trolling. Thanks a million for the update. It's called an opinion. The OP said he boxed up his PS3. Sweet. I am gonna box mine soon instead of keeping it out and attracting dust. You should thank me for protecting my investment instead of letting it sit in my Man Space and looking clueless.

I have to run, but you religious PS3 backers kill me. I will admit, I admire your devotion to Sony's folly of a console.

madskillz we all know money management isnt your strong point, which is why you bought 2 ps3s and 400 xboxes and 3000000 shovelware 360 games. truth be told you probably secretly like your PS3 but you're afraid to admit it because after all the times you've given linguistic fellatio to the 360 it just wouldn't seem right to turn your back on it.

I like my 360, but I have stated the faults with it. I am a fanboy to no system, and to call me one when I don't defend the PS3 ... ROTFLMBO. Maybe if Sony did it right I would shout its praises. I am not syched by the Jesus juice Sony's distributing.

And who are you to try and call me out? Can you do one thing for me - get a clue.
