gamefly rentals then you can sample with oyu much of a loss and if you have all three systems it beats buying tons of games!

I beat the shivering isle with no problems and there are way more exclusives on the 360 then the PS3 I dont play mine much but Iam getting GT5 and MGS4 so it will get some use!

There are good games coming out it just doesn't sound like you're a big fan of them. Do you like FPS's because Haze is coming out in a few weeks. As for MGS4, I think it will be such a good game that no matter what type of games you're into it's impossible not to like it. I'm expecting a 9.8 from IGN. All of the more diverse RPG's and platformers are coming out late 2008/2009 but until then it's a shooter fan's paradise.

The OP stated his opinion - and I can definitely relate. During my 3-week vacation, I played the devil out of my 360 and Wii - but fired up the PS3 a few times. It's about games - and I am not excited about the PS3 lineup. Maybe one day - and since I bought it, I have no plans to sell it anytime soon because I can still use it as a Blu Ray player when they quit making HD DVDs.

Face it - the PS3 is selling even better with the end of the format war. And some people who own PS3s aren't impressed. Count me in to this crowd. And before you call me a 360 fanboy, correct me if I am wrong, but a fanboy wouldn't buy a rival system.

PS3 is an expensive console that fails to keep my attention. Amen, OP. You gets mad props. Box that puppy up and enjoy your 360 and Wii. Pull it out when it needs to be used. At least it won't attract dust!

Dont worry. PS3 has a ten year lifespan so either you get your investment back or it collects more dust.

I admit, it's a bit of an empty plate coming off the PS2, but you'll just have to give it some time. There was a reason it didn't sell none too hot in the first year, and lack of games was a big part of it.

Just remember, 360 had an extra year on the market, and Wii had its first party games in production for quite a while, they've really been on the ball lately.


I know your not a big MGS fan, and that's a bit of a shocker, since you got a PS3, but you should give the series another shot, it's actually quite good, if you can get around the gameplay.

I personally love the gameplay, but admit it's an aquired taste.

My PS3 isn't collecting dust, it's coiled, waiting to strike.

Well you could of waited to get a second hand PS3 with games for four hundred pounds in two years time off ebay. Most potential PS3 owners will wait quite a bit longer until there is a wide range of AAA titles to chose from and the online service has been improved upon.
