There have been quite a few websites that have said it does just not work.I can't remember which they were I saw these website claims as news in gonintendo,I'll have to go through too many page archives to find them and I'm not bothering myself with that.

Oh,there also was this 60% Edge{not that I trust them by a tiny bit} review score.

I am not currectly convinced of the WiiWheel being either good or bad.I just want hands-on opinions.

How can the Wii wheel not work?  It's a piece of plastic, it doesn't do anything (in which case it really wouldn't work if they played with that).

The only reviews I'm concerned about are the types of peer reviews given on this site (and other gaming sites)

I'm using 'work' as a word to describe if it manages to achieve what it was designed for.Not for any electronic term.

Do they say the the control scheme still works with holding the remote on its side?

I loved Excite Truck and one of the reasons it was so great is because I love how it controlled. Sure, it could have been a little tighter (though it being loose made it fun too) but I would think MK would see all that and only improve upon that.

Thats great, you just made me jealous lol, I can't get my copy till next month, well I hope you have fun with it

Totally.  I loved Excite Truck's wacky loose controls and hectic speed.  I always figured Excite Truck was rushed for launch as the pre-Mario Kart control scheme experiment.  I really loved the game, but it just needed.... 12 player online battle mode and turtle shells.  I'd be happy if they just added items to Excite Truck, but hell, this Mario Kart Wii is blowing it out of the water.

Hi all,

The wheel works well (whether it worth the price is another issue, it's just a piece of plastic!), i picked it up and play, no calibrartion needed, no learning curve.

i haven't try the Nunchuk yet, maybe it can control the venicles in a more precise way, but i have no complain about the wheel.

I cant do the snaking by the wheel though, there is a snaking setting in the option menu, but i cant read japanese maybe i didn't get it right.

it's not easy to use MotorBike instead of Kart, i was constantly bumped off the cliff by heavy enemies like Wario and DonkeyKong

12 player mode is crazy, there are banana peels everywhere and cows walking across the road!

I tried 4 times and can't beat the first tournment yet, so i unlocked nothing so far, LOL
