Actually not at all. Before I met my wife, it almost looked like nobody lived here! No pictures on the wall , plants, pets or anything. She decorates like crazy, though.

I buy a lot of games and electionics but that's about it. I like having the newest consoles or phones. Maybe some nice furniture. I'm not really into expensive clothes, shoes, pets, etc. And I make sure all of my bills are paid before I even think of buying things I don't need.

Pets are living beings. They are not supposed to be bought. Adoption all the way

I can't adopt a fish!

My wife found a dog before we met, nursed her back to health and kept her. She died about a month ago, though. It was rough.

I have a LG G Watch R, and had (up until selling it) an iWatch.

process of owning them goes like this:

1) spend first few hours tinkering and being impressed
2) spend next few days finding apps, experimenting with watch faces
3) occasionally forget to charge, no point wearing it
4) realize that actually, controlling playback of your music and the volume, playing on your phone only has very limited usage, along with every other app
5) eventually stop wearing it because you can never be bothered to keep it charged

Long story short, waste of fucking time.

Just get a cheap xiaomi "smart" watch so you can occasionally do health app / tracking stuff, and see the time, full android/ios watches are a waste of money.

I feel you, man, and am really sorry for your loss. :(
