absolutely, I'm just not convinced that having, My Fitness Vol.8 would've helped much, that shipped had already sailed

Maybe not, but a game as small as Arms may have helped a lot.

Sure, if only they made it

Actually Wii U had a good launch window line up, people gave it a bad rap and it stuck hard, hard enough that it killed it

Yeah I think WiiU has a pretty solid launch. Actually, looking back, WiiU and Vita had the best launch line-ups but ended up failing the most spectacularly.

whatttt? Mario Bros and Nintendo Land as the only main first party titles for 6 or 8 months = good? what on Earth? smh

Launch line-up. Not launch window. I'm talking about November 18, 2012, and that's it.

Yes. Nsmbu is very good.

Also a lot of third party games, like Mass Effect 3!

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Switch is going to have had a pretty spectacular first year. I'll easily have 20 games (a dozen of them physical, retail releases) within the first year and many of them exclusives.

I held off buying the Wii U until MK8 came out. There's no way I could pass on Switch for that long.

One of my biggest criticisms for Wii U and XB1 was the lack of effort from Nintendo and MS compared to the Wii and 360, especially since they all but abandoned their previous consoles. So Switch doing well in that department is great!

Nintendo abandoned Wii in its last year and had nothing to show for it on Wii U. On the other hand, they ditched Wii U in its last year and have tons of stuff to show for it on Switch.

Yes, but they had few quite strong and big games for 3DS in 1st year. IMO that was one of main problem for Wii U 1st year lineup, Nintendo were saving 3DS in time when they needed to prepare Wii U launch and 1st year. But with Switch, they clearly will not have any more problems like those.

Nintendo clearly should have never betrayed Wii U owners and ported Zelda and Mario Kart to Switch.

Not sure if you are serious but certainly no betrayal felt by me. Totally understandable especially with the low install base of wii u. The issue for me as a wii u owner is I want more original games for Switch to justify its purchase, I don't want to deny new Switch owners these great games. They are a lot of money and if you have played them before it just makes the console far less appealling. Same would be true of any format i.e. origina xbox games on xbox 360 or ps2 games on ps3. It's ok to have if you never played them before. The one extra the Switch has is portability which does add something but to be honest I would be using the Switch more as a home console than portable and that again makes the Switch a bit more negative for me as its a high peformance portable but a low performance home console.  However I'm sure I'll get a Switch at some point it just doesn't feel right or necessary now.
