would a FIFA player be actually interested playing it on the go and dock options? im curious....

any fifa players here?

I am!

But I'm also one of the biggest haters of portable gaming on VGC so...

Does that mean you can't... bear handhelds, Kapi?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Since i only play FUT, nope ! It would be stupid for me to split the progress into 2 systems, also FUT on the Switch is missing FUT Champions which is pretty big for me personally and also a lot of other people. Also playing FUT Online vs other on the go, naaah the connection will be terrible, i would expect a lot of lag.

Its great for Fifa people, who like to play the offline modes. But for me im staying on PS4 only^^

It's great that the game plays well... but it's not the complete version.

I know that any Fifa is better than no Fifa. Let's hope the mass market doesn't care that much about the lacking Journey/story mode.

EA would blow me away if they made another Freedom Fighters game...

That franchise is dead and buried though ;_;

Mario is a lock, virtually anything with Mario on a Nintendo system will sell 2-3 million copies.

FIFA, NBA2K, and Skyrim are more interesting. Sales of these three games will tell us a lot about the Switch IMO.

Rocket League too I reckon. Third parties are going to be looking to these games to gauge the viability of future Switch support.

Aren't you also, like, one of the biggest Pokemon fans on here?

At least next year's iteration will be playable on console, for the first time, I guess...

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

...I'm pretty sure "next year's" iteration won't be playable anywhere.

Yeah I'm not at all convinced they can get their first HD Pokemon game out in 2018.

2019 I reckon.

Surprise comes from absence of expectation.

Me, but I only play FIFA with dualshock and I wasn't planning on buying a switch.

Still, it looks like a good version

Rocket League is pretty popular with kids, so I don't think that'll do it. It'll just be like when Minecraft proved to do well even on the Wii U. Kinda expected.

But if FIFA or NBA2K or Skyrim outperform ... then that will raise some eye brows at least. These are IPs that traditionally have not done that great on Nintendo systems and/or aren't put on Nintendo systems period. Guess we'll see, that could go either way IMO.
