Specially those sexy alien chicks, right?

How can you tell they're chicks?

Good point, but haven't you seen sci-fi moviees or videogames? All (good) aliens are human like!

Those are gorgeous. I hope they make an in-depth video about how they made it

Judging by the picture, it would involve a photoshop artist.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The new $200 Space Jordans? Nice.

"Was incredibly hard to balance esthetics and function." Wha....? I hope they prioritized function AND safety over aesthetics.

Seriously, the first second I saw that suit I thought to myself "I seriously hope the sweet looking design isn't at the cost of more pragmatic concerns" lol... The first thing that came to mind was the lack of a visor to protect from radiation should they leave the ship, though I'm sure they've something in place for that. Of course, they still have no solution for protecting the astronauts from radiation during the journey (especially if a solar flare should intercept them), but that's another matter as the Apollo crews faced the same issue even with their bulky suits.

That said, there should be no "balance of aesthetics and function" when the missions they've lined up for themselves are borderline suicidal to begin with. Regardless of what you are "pioneering", said "pioneering" era must focus entirely on pragmatic and safety concerns over looking cool while they do it lol

So they finally got someone from hollywood to design their suits?

Nah, astronauts need to worry about looking good when engaged in missions where the slightest suit malfunction might be fatal. It's like 50% fashion, 50% staying alive and whatnot.

Both look good, but they need to be more skintight. And they need flashy colors.

Also Elon... full view of the suit.

Exactly, give me those Mass Effect 1 style suits.

Well, how else are these astronauts gonna get some hot alien ass, dong and/or poon if the suits are ugly? It's all about first impressions, even in space.
