Basically the males are tiny compared to the females, and they just swim around till they find a female, then latch on and are absorbed into the female becoming essentially a sperm switch for her to use when it's time to fertilise.

The Bold Jumping Spider

Their fangs are bright green with this weird metallic sheen to them. Plus the ones that live around my house have patterns on their abdomen look like little faces.

In person, probably an octopus or a giant squid (the squid was dead, obviously, I'm not captain Ahab battling sea monsters). As to the craziest stuff I haven't seen, basically anything that lives in the deep ocean, it's all nightmare fuel (albeit awesome-looking nightmare fuel) down there.
