Her original face clearly looked of asian origin. You dont have like it, but its clear they were playing up asian features. When has Chun-Li ever had normal proportions?

What I'm saying is, they didn't just change her face, and people didn't just complain about her face. They complained about the face of American male too, and his was changed. So, you're putting too much emphasis on the race.

Chun Li looked of chinese origin for the first time. One that was not otherworldly attractive/perfect. That was the point of her original face.  It's in line with how characters are being designed today (New Lara Croft, entirety of MK cast in X). Her new face completely throws all that away for typical anime face with all. 

Chris top shot looks like early build face and then updated face based off the same general design. Typical of development. Not comparable.

Yes, she's Chinese. She's always looked a certain way in prior games. Always had certain features, and the original model for this game didn't respect that at all, and made her look like a doll. The updated model is an improvement, for sure, but still not the best model of her they've made.
