But really I MUST say that Final Fantasy is just been decimated by uninventive games of late. Take the series back to the roots and re-define it!

you could basically call all the franchises that have (had and died) steadily declining sales will end up closer to the trash bin for some of them. simply because they are milking out some franchises to death while they could revive them. This is something those guys have to realise. You can cash cow a franchise but only to a certain extend and then either:
get a new milking cow or
refresh the cow and nurture it back to health.
However, the later one is not popular because it will obviously cost more. But at some point the costs will be worth the investment because great franchises are becoming rare (long lasting ones)

Uhh, I wanted it to bring OoT down, because then that means TP would have been the godliest game for the next 10 years. I expected TP to be better than OoT.

What did I get instead? *spoilers ensue* I got one of the worst musical scores in Zelda history, the worst character development, plot holes up the ass, a REALLY weak ass twist which turned a once bad ass character (Zant) into a flaming pussy who is an incredibly sloppy fighter, and dingy textures. Oh, that ending was bullshit too: "O WE HAF 2 MAK SHURE THIS DONT HAPPN AGIAN SO IMMA BRAKE THIS MIRRER"

TP was a shitty Zelda game. Why can't people understand this?

Well, that isn't fair of me to say that. TP was a good game, but a very shitty Zelda title in every regard (except graphics, yay).

Nah, your friends are the chumps. Wind Waker brought a new perspective to the franchise. TP is probaby the worst Zelda game I've played, as it had many things lacking (such as a good musical score, character development, and other things we are used to in a Zelda title. Sure it had visuals, but no god damn story and plotholes everywhere.

The only people I can imagine liking TP are those who enjoy mediocracy.

Saying TP had the worst character development doesn't make sense when TP is one of TWO Zelda games with any character development, Zant taking off his helmet is not a "plot twist" and he was far from bad ass, it takes a bit more than sending monsters after people and throwing Twilight around to be "bad ass" so if you actually thought he was then no wonder you went into a tantrum when you found out the truth, screaming about dingy textures after OoT is hilarious, and crying about the ending not being a happily ever after ending when the worlds weren't supposed to be connected in the first place is flat out retarded.
