lol I must admit that was a pretty funny video.
I've never had a problem with people who become infatuated with other cultures (I've been guilty of that many times), but when they attempt to take ownership of it, shit on others who know less about it, and generally behave in an elitist attitude while claiming to hate their own culture, that groups does indeed annoy me a bit.
As far as the anime goes (I'm going on the western release that debuted earlier this year), DBS is like a nostalgic trip back through the highlights from the DBZ days while not taking itself too seriously with plenty of self-aware humor, that's just a step or two below the "Abridged" series from TeamFourStar.
Animation is solid, music's OK, I mean at this point we all know what 95% of the characters in the DB universe are, so those expecting something different out of Piccolo, Krillin and crew need to lower those expectations to the same level that dinosaur bones are found on.

As a huge Dragonball/Z fan I agree with a lot of your points but 1.5 that is like going to watch the episode and it dosent stream properly haha also if this is the worse then you have not watched many animes.

The original manga is what I consider to be the most beautiful manga. The level of detail in the original berserk is crazy

I just keep procrastinating. I finished episode 1 thankfully, so I'll start watching a few episodes a week

Weeaboos are annoying. Enjoy other cultures, but don't turn it into a joke.
It's as annoying as seeing people wear Turbans and then claim they know Middle Eastern culture. Makes you look like an ass.

If this were 1990 I wouldn't be as harsh, but this show seriously looks even worse with the other animes existing

Trust me just watch it .. i wish i could erase my memory and watch it again ahhh.. Oh and don't watch the first FMA no need for that just watch Brotherhood.

My Hero Academia and Mob Psycho are very fun shows. I think you'll enjoy both. Breaks out of the stereotypical anime style and are high quality
Unpopular opinion from someone with nostalgia for it: DBZ is terrible as well. Has a few moments, but overall the highlight of what's wrong with Shonen anime.
Now, Academia on the other hand...

Avatar is an anime. Anime isn't an art style and it's not a "Japanese animation." It's an artistic movement who's roots just happen to originate in Japan. Like French New Wave.
