You might be able to do that but most of my encounters with them is as I described. Those players can't hold territory for shit. |
Most players are like that lol. It's hard to find random players who know how to play correctly. Most of them just rush to the center, get killed, respawn, rush to the center, get killed etc.

Just a warning don't stay on the tower too long with the octbrush, you are easy pickings for shooters and you have no range.

I was using both of those weapons and maybe winning 40-50% of the time with around 10-15 kills in ranked. I switched to the octobrush and now I'm winning 90+% of the time with 20+ kills a game. I vote Nintendo doesn't nerf those weapons so i can continue to obliterate them with my octobrush lol. |
The octobrush can atleast be beaten when you have a shooter that outranges the octo. You just have to be aware of your surroundings and ot get flanked. Blasters completely destroy them.

This is false. The bucket is only good if you know how to use it. Most of the damage is at the tip of the splash, and therefore being able to judge distance is a must. There is also the range to take into effect as it only has a closish range to how far it goes.
Anyone with any charging gun can pick off a bucket user without issue. Also an automatic with decent range can take them out as well. With that in mind, stealth is a must for anyone using a bucket.
The bucket is fine, people just need to learn the stengths and weaknesses of each weapon instead of crying nerf all the time.

So the two hit kill damage is only at the far end of the bucket's range?

Nope, the entire slosh does 62 damage. There is a testing range where you can see all this for yourselves.

Wait. I swear that the tri-slosher does 60 damage from any range. If it only two hit kill at the tip, then I would't nor would Srb2dude would't state that this weapon is overpowered.

It does do 60 (well, 62) damage from any range, that's exactly what Lonely_Dolphin said. |
Fixed for ya!
Anywho, the regular Slosher did have a part of it's slosh that dealt less damage (40 instead of 70) so maybe that's where the confusion is coming from, but that was in Splatoon 1. Now the entire slosh deals the full 70 damage.

It's not about winning.
