The series in generaly isn't all that big of a seller really, Ff we look at VGC estimates for Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires it has PS4 at 200k and X1 at 70k, if the ratio is something like that there is plenty of money for them to make on Xbox for how easy it would port over.

Well, I'm not exactly sure how the financials work myself.

No confirmed date yet, but I personally expect 2018 for Japan and Q1 2019 for the west.

I think winter-ish was hinted at for Japan, which to me sounds like the next winter. Besides, they're already showing some gameplay footage, so I wouldn't expect the game to be that far anymore.
