Forums - Gaming - What do you do at those Con things?

I wouldn't mind going to a gaming convention that has vendors that sell games, I'd like to purchase some retro games at them. But in any case, I'm an introvert too, can't see myself doing much more than that.

Most always they are overpriced, at least in my experience.

Yeah, I've never been to myself, so I wasn't sure. I get a lot of my retro games from flea markets, where you can either get good deals, or rip-offs.

Well, I've gone to a few anime cons, and I check out the dealer's room, check out/took pictures of cosplay, go to some panels, and check out the gaming room.

Though nowadays I prefer volunteering at them instead. You get some nice perks while still enjoying it

Look for cool collectibles, play some demos, go to panels, play some public games, talk to industry people, cosplay / cosplay watch, go to early screenings of shows, take part in contests & auctions, etc.

You obviously need to the like theme of convention (gaming, Anime).

-Lots of people find looking at cosplayers satisfying.
- Seeing special guests that you may be a fan of
- Buying merchandise and fan art
- Other activities
- Competitions

The good thing about playing games there is LOCAL PLAY! Im sure most of us rarely play games with someone next to you (especially if your close friends are not into the game you play).

Pocky Lover Boy!

This is an opportunity for you to take pictures with the boobs, I mean the cosplayers.
