Can somebody link the prediction thread? I forget if I made one or not, and what my predictions was if so. Too lazy to look for it.

Insane sales when you include digital. Ps4 version vindicated.  Remember all the people saying the 3ds version would outsell it multiple times! 

a) It doesn't include digital. 
b) There's a Nintendo Switch version coming soon.
c) For comparison's sake, Dragon Quest IX on the DS did 2,338,221 million first week.

So, even if IX still beat it, it just barely did.

Likely higher with digital of course, especially the PS4 version. I expect similar digital to FFXV.

actually that's lower than i expected but hope both have great legs...

That's sooooo amazing. Really glad it's selling so well.

This is almost the best result for dragon quest, if PS4 version break 1 million will be better. still good job anyway! and the switch version is coming soon!

you still said tha it has no chance and the 3ds with a huge advantage barely outsold the ps4 version. We also have take note that ps4 is sold out in some stores in japan. 

DQ ip just grew nicely by the looks of it.  Obviously the very profitable digital copies need to be added.  I expect it to sell better in Asia compared to the past titles and western sales added too.  Big result for the ip. 

Maybe mediacreate will have it higher just physical.  Either way with retail it's over it.
