Forums - Sales - Wii Gets Fourth 5+ Million Seller, Passes X360

Hmm, pretty damn good. Although, 2 of the 360's were 3rd party games.

True, and as we all know, a first-party game is only worth 3/5 that of a third-party game.

Actually, no. It's completely menaingless, and yet another example of moving the goalposts to try to discount Nintendo's success. It's sad that people can't let this go.

Uhh, can't let what go? Sounded like a bunch of buzz words stuck together.

Well, sorry.

If you really don't understand, (and I think you're just playing dumb), just go to any of the chart threads and read how Wii Sports doesn't count because it's bundled and not a real game, Wii Play doesn't count because it comes with a remote, Mario Party, Mario and Sonic, and Carnival Games don't count because they're too casual, Resident Evil 4 doesn't count because it came out for other systems, etc. As someone mentioned in another thread, Wii Fit won't count either, and I'm sure there's some reason why we can all ignore Galaxy.

You did it yourself in this thread, when you highlighted "Wii" and "Mario." Some people just have this weird persistent urge to prove to themselves that Nintendo's games succeed for illegitemate reasons.

Can we please stop the damage control? Everytime someone posts a thread like this about Wii million sellers someone always runs in to start DCing Nintendo's success. It's always an excuse and it's always singling out certain games that are successful.

Remember when Jimmay went berserk? He wouldn't stop shitting in the last thread so he had to be banned to stop. It's ridiculous that Wii million sellers make people snap and start acting crazy.

3/5ths.  Gotta love the history jokes.

Pretty interesting though.  GTA will hit it too... not sure what else on 360 will though.

I could see Guitar Hero 3 making it for the 360, but it's only slightly halfway over the mark now. Maybe Assassin's Creed, years.
