Mostly, it's children. They grow resentful towards VGChartz because their console didn't win last month, or some other such nonsense.
If they focused as much of their energy on damage control for the current amount of consoles sold, as they do on their attempts to marginalize and ignore the truth about these sales, then we'd have some decent fanboys on our hands, but instead we're scraping the bottom of the internet, to find these haters.
ioi and TheSource can't see this because they are to close to it, but the truth is, from a hardware perspective, any analyist in the world who wants to give semi-accurate and accountable worldwide predictions for immediate and distant analysis of the videogame market, only has one place where all that information is compiled in a readable and accessable way, and that is VGChartz.
Anyone who predicts anything, those predictions can be researched, and found to be probably, improbable, or impossible, in any 15 minutes of the day, using VGChartz tools, data, and knowledgable community.
Anyone who questions the usefullness of this website to industry analyists, simply doesn't know what this site has to offer, and underestimates it greatly.

Just so you know VGChartz can be very inaccurate and is why numbers are always being adjusted even from past weeks/months.
You know, the site may not be entirely accurate, but it does give a general idea on how each console is doing, and ioi is usually pretty darn close to other numbers. I also like the weekly sales updates. =D
Wtf do they want the numbers to be exact. Seriously. The site is accurate enough to keep you waiting for npd numbers. I really want some of them to join just so ioi himself could explain to them.

If they're wrong, why use them at all? What vgcrapz is is a simple site that relies on users to provide him with as much sales data as possible so that he can call it his own and make money off of your backs. Keep challenging him and you will be met with silence. He's a coward. The site makes a mockery of research worldwide. Enjoy those numbers while you got 'em b/c this party can't last much longer. I could only imagine the pendulum swinging closer and closer. lol We're all monkeys! |
