game looks good for me

That cloud based car humping physics needs better graphics before it can impress the masses... Seriously, even if the destruction looked nice (which it did earlier) the game in general doesn't look attractive at all.

And those cars humping aech other, they should put that benny hill music on it, it would be great!

Anyone else wishing for a Prototype 3?

I've got both P1 and P2, in fact I've not played either yet and 2 is still sealed.

At some point i'll give them a spin. I never did because it was at the time of infamous and i went straight to playing that instead.

I remember having a massive discussion with someone at the time (dont think they are any longer on the site) who was arguing for prototype (think they just hated sony) and how they thought it would sell better than infamous.

I think its a shame Prototpye isnt any longer supported (bit like Dead Space), I think done right it could do very well and open world super hero/villian type games could be awesome.

These games are the pure defintion of guilty pleasures. The stories are bland and forgettable, the graphics are garbage, there is no memorable music, the games are way too easy, and the main gameplay mechanics feel sort of weightless. But what they excel at is pure fun. It is so much fun to glide around in Prototype 2 and basically be an OP god compared to the NPCs. If this project was given to a development team like Volition, some of the problems could be ironed out. At this point though, I'm pretty sure Prototype has experienced the same fate as the Red Faction series.

The good news is that the Red Faction series might be making a comeback their IP was purchased... so fingers crossed.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

And it's delayed. Probably for the best. It just wasn't a good showcase for the new hardware, based on the video.

That's not what I meant with better PR though.... It's a bit sad actually. Guess now it's up to Super Lucky's Tale to unleash the " true 4K Monster" at release.

But yeah...if there is still some hope left for this game it's probably better to delay it than to show the X1X in a bad light. That said if they don't delay X1X as well.

The destruction was running on high end PCs in a closed environment...No indication of the real game.
